  2. Esperanza got to the camp with her mama, Miguel, Hortensia and Alfonso. she has to share a small cabin with four other people. Esperanza still thinks she is rich and she told Isabell a 8 year old girl that when her grandma, Abuelita gets better, they will move into a bigger house instead of the small cabin. Esperanza also does not like the small cabins because it reminds her of the horse stalls on El Rancho de las Rosas.

  5. Esperanza’s new reality is Esperanza’s ma buyed a new house. Esperanza thinks if she has a house should get Hortensia and Alfonso a cabin. The cause for all of this to happen is Esperanza’s house got burned down and her papa died, and all of that is caused from Tio Luis Stocking Elementary School

  6. Esperanza new reality is that she has to live in the United States of America at a worker camp. She has to live in one house shared with Alfonso, Hortensia, and Isabel. Also they don't have a bathroom in their house. So they have to use the bathroom in one room with many toilets. She is going to live in a log house that looks like a horse stall. Esperanza is very miserable about these living conditions.

  7. Esperanza’s New Reality
Esperanza is Miserable because Abuelita wasn't with her and she missed her and she was still sad because papa died and mama couldn't pay her bills or do anything so they had to find a new man that can help them and they lost their house so they only had a bed and a cot. So Basically Esperanza whole life is ruined.

  9. The train ride with miguel was were other people could react to what they were doing and they ended up getting mangoes in the shape of exotic flowers. And ended up with a divine dinner but on the wagon they didn't have anyone to interact with instead of mangoes he had guavas.
Esperanza reality is that she basically lives in a horse stall but her idea of it is that when her grandma comes back she gets a house and maybe another one

  26. Esperanza’s reality has changed because her surroundings and where she lives now. Esperanza still thinks she is still rich but she’s a peasant now because tio Luis burned her house down because her mom refused to marry him and he told her mother that she would regret what she did so he burned her house down and they lost everything so they moved to the United States. Esperanza thinks where she lives now is like a horse stall because the cabin she was going to stay in was really really dirty and it only had two beds and when of the beds were big enough for two people to sleep in and a small cot could fit in the bed.

  28. Esperanza’s new reality is different than what it used to be because that she is now in the United States and she is living in a camp and there is mattresses on the floor so they can sleep. Also a tiny little kitchen to make food and it is kinda weird for Esperanza because she has never been in the united states

  32. rag or riches
If I was Esperanza in her life it will be awesome. The reason I pick Esperanza she was ri the first time now she not and for Esperanza
she don’t have to do all this work because Isabel treat her like a slave and Isabel was always rich. Isabel was mad because she also might like
Miguel and Esperanza also like Miguel. Now about Esperanza life was good and she never got treated like a slave but what I think about
Isabel she might got treated like a slave because she might be lying. And Isabel life might look bad like she had to do all this stuff like diapers, laundry, and sweep.

Esperanza’s new reality is she is not rich anymore so she has to live with Juan, Josefina, Miguel, Alfanso, Hortensia, Isabel, and two babies in one cabin and they have to sleep on mattresses that are on the floor and when Esperanza looks at the ceiling there is a hole in the ceiling that looks like someone covered it up with newspaper and cardboard.

  38. Esperanza was happy that her family was not staying close to her uncle anymore but unfortunately her family was very poor here in the United States. They stayed in a tiny cabin which was not comparable to her beautiful big house back in her home country.
