A Farewell Letter from Esperanza
Pretend you are Esperanza and that you are preparing to leave your home in Mexico for the United States. Write a farewell letter to your best friend Marisol Rodriguez explaining the reasons for your departure and how you feel about it.

ReplyDeleteMe and my family are moving to the country called the United States.Our house has been burned down and mama and I have to go quickly before my horrible uncle Tio,Luis catches us.We have made a secret plan on how we will escape. We will have to lay flat in a truck full of fruits and will catch a train at a station.Mama has found a work place were they have cabins for the workers to sleep. It will be different than living in a mansion.I wish I didn't have to leave my good home.Tell my other friends i said goodbye.I will miss you all and I wih you all good luck and wishes
