Beginning in November, all 5th grade students in Grand Rapids Public Schools will be reading this book and blogging about their reading experience. There will be questions posed to the students, posts written and shared from different classrooms and four "Great Days of Blogging". The final celebration will be held with a visit from the author in March 2016.
you adapt to a situation by knowing whats it like Esperanza has adapted to 2 different life's an knowing a lot because she has adapted to her new life.
One thing Esperanza has to get used to is washing dirty diapers and learn things to feed to Pepe and Lupe. Also Esperanza has to get used to is bathe herself and dry. Esperanza has to have a new life in a different state and community and live with out Papa and Abelita.
Lots of people just need to be taught first. Then they need to practice alot until they get it right. Soon they'll be use to it, and realize that they got the hang of it. Then people will adapt to doing there every day life.
When I was like 6 or 5,I was trying to take care of my sister a little bit when my mom and dad are gone.It was hard doing it by myself.Now I realized that it's not hard anymore.I had a fear that someone or something is going to kill me,but nothing has.Eperanza had to take care of the babies.She made a big mistake by giving the babies some rotten plums. When I moved to Michigan it was hard to fit in my new family. For Esperanza, it was hard for Esperanza to fit in her new home because Marta bullies Esperanza, Mama is in the hospital, Esperanza does not know how to work like the the other workers. Amy Sherwood Mrs Thayer

how people adapt to different situations is that if they get in a fight they should adapt the situation different like if someone was to start picking on you, you should get an adult instead of fighting.
before Esperanza dad died she was spoiled but when her dad died she wasn't spoiled anymore. When m grandpa was still alive he spoiled me but when he died.When he died my hole family spoiled me but she didn't get spoiled by her whole family.
Many people have changes in their lives such as losing a job or their or their security.I am going to compare and contrast some situations that me and her have. One thing that we have in common is that we both moved from one place to another.Another thing Esperanza and I were not happy where we live and now we got used to it and we feel ok now . We both met friends like Esperanza met Isabel and I met friends also. Esperanza's mom changed her hairstyle. Somethings we have in difference is that I don't stand in the tub waiting for someone to finish me off like Esperanza did in the story.She had servants and I did not.She was very rich I was not as rich as her.She has went on a dirty train and I have not. Those were some similarities and differences between me and Esperanza.
