Beginning in November, all 5th grade students in Grand Rapids Public Schools will be reading this book and blogging about their reading experience. There will be questions posed to the students, posts written and shared from different classrooms and four "Great Days of Blogging". The final celebration will be held with a visit from the author in March 2016.
How Esperanza changed is she now has to cook for herself and she has to clean and take care of her mom and she does not like being riches to rags. That is also the theme of the story. She has to do a lot and she also had to get a lot of money so then Abulita can come back. The theme is Riches to Rags so every thing that I talked about it goes under the theme Riches to Rags. Some other things that I can tell you about is that when every thing had been going bad then she got angry because she had once lived in a nice house and plenty of good things but then every thing got bad in Esperanza's live.
A theme in the book is that you should help or do sacrifices to others. I am Jose from Dickinson Academy.
