Beginning in November, all 5th grade students in Grand Rapids Public Schools will be reading this book and blogging about their reading experience. There will be questions posed to the students, posts written and shared from different classrooms and four "Great Days of Blogging". The final celebration will be held with a visit from the author in March 2016.
Esperanza the book is good to read and I have problems with the words because there are so many Spanish words in it. How did you decide on the Spanish words for your book?
How many books did you write? How did you get the ideas for your books? How did you find out about the dust storm in California? Why did Esperanza feed the babies plums?
